Hyundai Construction Equipment India has won the “Best Design Innovation Award of the Year” for Model R215L SMART PLUS Mining Crawler Excavator by Equipment Times at Yellow Award 2022. The excavator was engineered with the “Customer Voice in Mind”. The key highlights of the model are SMART design for increased fuel efficiency and productivity, dual SIM telematics for seamless connectivity, increased durability, and low operating and maintenance costs. The award ceremony was held on May 17, 2022, in Bangalore. The Yellow Dot Award was organized by Ark Events & Media Pvt. Ltd., a media company that covers news from the construction industry and manufacturers of construction equipment.

According to a Hyundai Construction Equipment official, "We won a prestigious design award, a complete verification of our design prowess”. He added, “In the future, we will continue to introduce products with excellent performance and designs. Through this strategy, we intend to grow our market share in India and expand to serve the overseas market.”
